How does it work?
Fat freeze, professionally known as Cryolipolysis or fat reduction treatment, uses panels of precisely controlled cooling to cool fat to a freezing temperature for fat reduction. Is Fat Freeze painful?
Fat Freeze treatment is non-invasive and non-surgical, meaning there is no pain and no downtime. We recommend you consult your primary care physician to make sure Fat Freeze is a safe treatment for you. Because the procedure freezes fat cells through your skin, you may experience discomfort from suction or the coldness on the skin.
Who is it best for?
Fat freeze is not right for everyone. Experts highly recommend this treatment for stubborn fat, and you must have at least an inch of pinchable fat for this procedure to have results for your body. CoolSculpting is not a treatment for obesity and cannot help you lose additional weight if you are overweight.
Fat freezing is appropriate for those who want to remove small amounts of fat that are resistant to weight loss attempts such as diet and exercise. In fact, many women don't lose much weight at all after the procedure; They only lose stubborn fat.
CoolSculpting is an effective treatment that's safe for reducing body fat. However, some patients should not have the treatment due to the potential for complications. Those with conditions such as cryoglobulinemia, PCH, and cold agglutinin disease are not ideal candidates.

Is there any downtime?
There is zero downtime involved with Fat freeze. In fact, you can use your lunch-hour break from work to have the procedure done and return to work or even take a nap with no problem at all. In fact, our patients typically resume normal activities immediately after treatment. If you're treating multiple areas, it may take more than an hour. However, we can use multiple machines simultaneously to treat multiple areas at once.
What should I expect before and after treatment?
Before treatment, your Fat freeze technician will make sure you understand the procedure and answer any of your additional questions from the consultation. Treatment times vary depending on the area of the body you're having treated.
After treatment, your body will start naturally eliminating the dead fat cells. You can expect about a 20% to 25% reduction in fat in each treated area.
Patients may experience side effects, including temporary redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness. These side effects typically subside after a few hours to a few days.
It may take up to three months to see the full results of CoolSculpting.
